Dan received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ursinus College and holds FINRA series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations. With 22 years of investment consulting experience, Dan has developed an unparalleled passion for helping clients meet their financial needs through investment management. We know that his vast knowledge of investment solutions and attention to what’s best for the client will make him an invaluable addition to the Erben Associates team.
Dan has lived in Austin for 15 years, and enjoys exploring all the wonderful things it has to offer with his wife Rose and two beautiful daughters, Maddie and Francesca. Some of his favorite activities include playing golf, hiking, and traveling to new places. Dan is also passionate about raising awareness for Alzheimer’s disease, and has been involved in raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Requirements to Obtain the Designation
- Meet minimum professional experience requirements in financial services
- Complete an approved education program through a registered provider
- Pass a comprehensive certification examination
- Agree to adhere to ethical and professional standards
Ongoing Requirements
- Complete continuing education requirements, including at least 40 hours every two years
- Fulfill ethics-related education requirements
- Renew the designation and remain in good standing
